Mr. Thompson was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. Throughout the course of my case, my husband and I would have occasional question. Upon calling Mr. Thompson if he was not immediately available, he would return my call usually within an hour. I would recommend him and his courteous staff to my closest friends and family.

I began to lose my ability to stand, walk, or be pain free, as a result of a back injury I received years ago in a construction accident. Michael Thompson handled my Disability case with more professionalism and thoroughness than either I or the judge at my trial anticipated. The judge praised him profoundly for how well-written the trial preparation paperwork was. As a result, the trial was over within 15 minutes with a fully favorable decision. After which she again praised Michael’s preparation and said she hoped all of her trials were managed as smoothly. Of course there is no guarantee that every client of Michael’s will receive a fully favorable decision, but I can testify that every client of his will be represented as well as absolutely possible.

When I came to Michael my life was in turmoil and I was involved in another case which could of jeopardized my L&I Widows Benefits Claim but against all odds and lots of hard work he won my case. Micheal helped my husband and I with an extremely difficult labor lawsuit. Michael Thompson represented me in a long Workman’s Compensation case that was very frustrating and complicated. He tackled each problem diligently and did not allow me to give up hope. He always kept me informed of each new development, of all possible scenarios, and was gracious and courteous to me and my husband at all times. My husband,(who is now deceased) retained Michael Thompson on 1/15/1998 to represent him in a dispute of his workers’ compensation claim that he had filed for an injury on 7/11/95. On 7/11/95 my husband was standing on a stool in order to reach the milk dryers at his place of employment(THE STOOL was provided by his employer for that purpose), when it collapsed under him, knocking him to the concrete floor and injurying his right shoulder. From then on he had periods of pain and absences from work. But still continued to work until the night of 3/15/96 which he was pulling a stack of milk(24 gallons) stacked six high in cases onto a track, when he felt a sharp excruciating pain in his right shoulder, which was later diagnosised as a torn right rhomboid muscle. He attempted several times to go back to work,however, was unable to perform his job because of the heavy lifting and so had to finally stop working on 4/19/1996. He was awarded a lump sum settlement of around $25,000, payable monthly and then on 12/8/1997, he received a letter that he was not eligible anymore and payments would stop, and they also wanted him to repay some of the money they had sent him. That is when Michael Thompson was retained and fought for him and won the case and my husband was awarded a monthly payment back to 5/10/1997 until his death in 2003. Since that time I have received this monthly payment which will continue until my death. WITHOUT MICHAEL THOMPSON WE WOULD HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ANY FURTHER COMPENSATION FROM HIS FORMER EMPLOYER OR L&I. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE.
HE IS A VERY HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY PERSON AND I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL TO HIM.
